"Tomorrow is not promised to any of us." Kirby Puckett was a very successful man. He grew up from practically nothing to living his dream. When Kirby was a boy he lived in the projects but had amazing baseball skills to keep him out of trouble. Kirby's career really go serious in high school he was the best player on his team but no one offered him a scholarship. Later in his life he granted a chance to try out for the MLB he was sent to Bradly University but was transferred to Trintion College. He successfully made it in. Not only being one of the biggest accomplishments in Kirby's life the Minnesota Twins picked him in the first round third pick. After his pick he was obviously the best player hitter on his team. After He retired (because of glaucoma) he was the manager for the wins and finished his last year with a .318 career and was voted to Baseball Hall of Fame.
